I am the one who got inspired for blogging by seeing income reports of other bloggers.
At the starting of by blogging career, I thought blogging is the easy way to earn money online. 
But as I gain experience, let me tell you frankly – blogging is one of the best source to earn money online. But trust me it is not the easy way to earn money online.
I thought, to make money from blogging it is sufficient to just learn the skill of blogging.
But as time passes I came to know that all the successful bloggers who are making good money through online are not only good at blogging, but also good at several other skills.

To really start earning full time income from blogging, you need to start learning other skills in which already successful bloggers are good at:

As internet is reaching to many people, you can observe that most of the people spend their time on various social channels like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
So it is very important for you as a blogger to learn on how to promote your blog content in these channels.
Promoting your blog content in various social media channels can help you get more traffic to your website, which in turn will increase your income.
2. Maintaining WordPress Website
Most of the blogging platforms today are built in WordPress. WordPress is a platform which will help you build and maintain your own website without the need of any coding skills.
I built all my websites on WordPress.
So it would be very useful for you to gain basic knowledge on maintaining a WordPress website, so that you no need to get depend on other developers.
This will save you lots of money and can even help you build more websites in future, by yourself.

I am sure you might have read somewhere – “Money is in the list”.
If you are following any of the successful blogger in your field, I am sure they might told you to build your own email list.
Email marketing is very important to get you recurring traffic, create long term relationship with your visitors and finally sell your products or promote your affiliate products.
It might seem to you that email marketing is technical and difficult to understand.
But trust me, if you focus it is very easy.
There are lots of youtube videos which can help you in getting understanding on it.
Choose one email marketing tool, understand how it works.
4. SEO
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. It means you need to optimize your website for getting shown on search results for your targeted keywords.
It might bit technical to initially understand SEO.
But start with basics.
Take courses in sites like Udemy, Skillshare.
Invest money in yourself to learn new skills, later you will realize on how effective it is.

An image is a worth thousand words.
Using proper images in your blog posts will make people like your post and may stay there in your site for more time.
Images also play a crucial role in social media.
Using images in your social media posts can help you get more likes and shares. It can even help increase your website traffic.
Knowing basic skills on how to edit photos can help you create nice images for your blog posts.
Websites like Canva can make your job more easy.
6. Content Marketing
Content is king. The more quality content you create the better chances of you becoming successful.
But, creating content alone will not be of much use.
You should start promoting it.
There are more than 100 ways in which you can promote your content online.
Become skilled in content marketing and increase your chances of become successful.

I strongly believe that this was one of the strong reason on why most of the bloggers are not becoming successful.
In fact, few bloggers waste lots of their money in outsourcing these things.
Don’t take me wrong. Outsourcing is very good to make you focus on other very important things.
But you should atleast have a basic knowledge to judge on whether the work you outsourced is done properly or not.
So I strongly suggest you to get at least basic understanding on the skills discussed above.
