So your review should be very genuine. You should highlight both positive and negative things about the product.

Try writing a review only if you have personally used it. Write it in a personal tone.

2. Write How-to Articles

How-to write articles help your readers to take action based on the step by step instructions you give.

These are a kind of DIY (Do It Yourself) articles.

You should write in such a way that your readers should not face any difficulty during this process.

For example if you wanted to promote BlueHost affiliate, then you can write on “How to Host Your Blog Using BlueHost”.

This article should have as many number of screenshots as possible so that readers can easily do it themselves.

So you can give your affiliate link in articles of these kind and earn commission if your readers purchase through this referral link.

3. Use Banners

If your blog is getting lots of organic traffic through your blog posts, then having banners with affiliate links can work out very well.

Personally you can see that my blog also has banners with their affiliate links.

But there are certain things to keep in mind while doing affiliate marketing through blogs:

• Do not use too many banners. It will confuse your readers to identify which is the blog related image and which is the affiliate related image.
• Do not promote too many banners from products related to same niche. For example, if you want to promote email marketing tool then do not have multiple banners from products like Aweber, Convertkit, Mailchimp etc which are all competitors. It can actually confuse your readers on which one to buy and finally end up buying nothing.

4. Use Coupon Codes

What more do a user wants when he is saving money while purchasing a product.

Coupon codes can help them save money.

If you are promoting any affiliate products, make sure you are reading emails sent by those products from time to time.

Because they might be sending various offers in the form of customised coupon codes just to bloggers who have good readership and from whom they think are getting good conversions through their affiliate links.
