Are you struggling to be successful in life? Are you not able to achieve whatever you have aimed for?
Wondering why you are not able to be successful, while others seem successful?
Just a quick question – Are you consistent in doing whatever you have aimed for? Do you know the importance of consistency in life? If the answer to this question is NO, then I would strongly recommend you reading this blog, which will help you understand the importance of consistency in life.
What Exactly is Being Consistent?
Forget about the dictionary definition or on how other people define what being consistent is all about. But for me, “Doing every single day, the tasks which help achieve your goals. No Excuses, and No Justifications on not doing”.
Having said that, I am not recommending you to spend hours and hours on those tasks. But I would instead believe it is taking small steps, but being consistent.
For example, I do not want you to read a book every day for 3 to 4 hours (if you are reading and consistent, that’s wonderful 🙂 ) in a single day and then not to read for next 1 week.
Instead what I would prefer is to read a book just for 10 mins, but read it every day and be consistent in reading.
Now, how is being consistent going to help?
Here are some of the points which highlight the importance of being consistent in life.
Importance of Consistency in Life
- It creates discipline
- It creates self-control
- It improves trust in yourselves
- It will lead to your progress
- It will make you unique, when compared to others who are not consistent
- It will help you learn complex things
- It will make people trust you more
- It will help grow your money over the time
- It will keep you healthy
- It will help maintain better relationships
Tips to Help You Being Consistent
- Keep reading motivational or self-improvement books/blogs
- Never get disappointed and give up completely, if you have missed your daily routine of doing things for a single day. It’s ok, we are humans.
- Do not overburden yourself with too many challenging tasks. Aim for 1 or 2 tasks at a time, and be consistent with those tasks.
- Give yourself time to relax and do whatever you feel like doing, during this time – Sleep, Read, Eat, Watch Movies etc.
Conclusion
As I mentioned in the beginning of this blog, I would recommend you to aim for small steps but to take those steps on a daily basis.
